More and more spoilers and information is coming out about next year how runner Steven Moffat has revealed another juicy titbit about what may be in store for the Doctor.

The Sun newspaper are reporting that companion Amy Pond will die in a devastating cliffhanger at the end of part 1 of series 6, and will leave viewers “needing the summer to recover". Steven Moffat said that the Doctor and Amy will face a “game-changing” moment. “It's a huge event. It's a good one. I know word-for-word what the cliffhanger is”, Steven Moffat revealed.

If you remember the rumor about Dr who was going to be split in two this year it never happened but next year its happening.

Steven moffat and the BBC have announced that for 2011 Dr who will be split in two which means Dr who in the spring and autumn.

it is a request from Steven to write a new Doctor Who story arc which involves a big plot twist in the middle of the series. By splitting the series Moffat plans to give viewers one of the most exciting Doctor Who cliffhangers and plot twists ever, leaving them waiting, on the edge of their seats, until the autumn to find out what happens.

he says  ''The split series is hugely exciting because viewers will be treated to two premieres, two finales and more event episodes. For the kids it will never be more than a few months to the next Doctor Who! Easter, Autumn, Christmas!!"

Matt Smith talks 'Who' tour, Xmas

How does it feel to be the face of an arena tour?
"It's a privilege. It feels rather marvellous. It's one of those lovely things that you only get to experience when you play The Doctor, I suppose."

You've filmed brand new video scenes for the tour. What can you tell us about them?
"Basically, it's all narrative-based. Within that, there's a character which I can't name, and The Doctor has a lot of interactions with him. Also, you've got all the monsters - the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Weeping Angels, the Silurians, the Judoon, the Ood, the vampires. Churchill makes an appearance. [So does] Liz Ten. All of that is woven into this one narrative structure. On top of that, [composer] Murray Gold's music has scored a lot of the live-action that's taking place on the stage."

You've also filmed some new scenes for the DVD release of the last series. Can you reveal anything about those?

"Without wishing to give too much away, because I want them to remain a surprise, I can tell you that Steven Moffat has written them and they're extra little scenes and skits. They're self-contained and they're just very funny. He's not bound by any narrative so he can just write really funny skits. I think they're a wonderful bonus."

"Yes. This very afternoon, I'm heading back into town to voice more."

Are there any hints you can give on what's coming up?
"There's some brilliant things coming up. I've done the first four episodes, which were great. Luke (Tommy Knight) goes off to Oxford University and there's some intrigue surrounding that. There's a nasty nightmare creature. And K-9 goes off with Luke - there's a very sweet moment between Mr. Smith and K-9. They sort of admit their grudging respect for each other."

Would you ever like to appear on-screen in Sarah Jane or maybe Doctor Who?

"Yeah, I'd love to. I'd give my eye-teeth to do that!"

Evacuation Earth

The Doctor and Amy arrive at the Lake District to watch the humans leave the planet. Suddenly the TARDIS gets lifted from them and bolted onto the evacuation ship. They have to make their way onto the ship before it leaves As the ship launches it has technical problems and they realise the Silurians have built a ship underneath. The Doctor finds a solution to make the ship work

Suddenly the Dalek ship smashes into the human one and splits the Silurian half off. It’s the Dalek ship that chased the Time Axis into the sun – they weren’t destroyed, they actually made a random jump several hundred years into the past

The Daleks are pleased that they can exact revenge on the Doctor but first they make him fix their ship. The Doctor goes along with their plan but tricks them into bolting the TARDIS onto their ship, which he promptly jumps into and uses to fling them into the nearest black hole

Return To Earth
The Doctor and Amy help the SS Lucy Gray to return home to Earth, unravelling a Cyber Plot and preventing the Daleks from retrieving a lost Time Axis along the way. The Doctor and Amy arrive on a human colony ship returning to Earth after it was rendered uninhabitable by solar flares. Without provocation they are attacked by the ship’s maintenance robots and become separated in the struggle.

The Doctor is eventually led to the ship’s Head Quarters, where he discovers a Cyber Leader has connected himself to the ships AI and is blackmailing it into doing his bidding, or else he’ll kill the crew. Meanwhile the Cybermen that were hiding in the ship ambush Amy and chase her out into space.

A few weeks ago we heard rumors that Matt smith would be leaving Dr who just after one more season of Dr who but Matt smith is now staying till 2013 (Dr who is 50 years old in 2013).

“The current team believe that Matt is the person to continue taking the show forward over the next few years and want to avoid the prospect of fans having to get used to yet another actor in the role in the near future,” says our show mole.
